Let The Rio Birds Lead You In An Adventure
Ogilvy and Mondelez Philippines decided to use mobile Augmented-Reality to promote Tang’s new watermelon flavor. With the new Rio 2 Movie coming soon, the campaign also provided the perfect opportunity to do a tie-up and create a Rio 2 themed AR app: The Tang Adventure Trail
The Tang Adventure Trail is a Mobile Augmented Reality Application available for both iOS and Android. Once downloaded, participants must visit any of the participating Robinsons Supermarket and look for the Tang Rio 2 photo booth where they can take photo with virtual Rio 2 characters. Participants can also use the Adventure Trail feature and look for the Tang Rio 2 floor stickers inside the supermarket. Using the AR app to scan the floor stickers, Rio 2 characters come to life and direct participants to an exciting fruity surprise!
